Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Richard Alexander Williams, 46, of Bullhead City on Thursday (11/30) for Fraudulent Schemes, felony.  On September 22, 2017 Williams reported that a family member had stolen one of his hand guns and then pawned it at a local pawn shop. The gun was retrieved from the local pawn shop and returned to Williams. After follow up investigations, Sheriff’s deputies found evidence that Williams had lied about the theft and had actually been involved in the pawning of the gun. On 11-30-17, Sheriff’s deputies contacted Williams by phone and asked him to come into the Mohave County Sheriff’s Sub-Station in reference to this case. Williams indicated he would not be available at that time.  Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1700 block of Ramar Dr in Bullhead City at approximately 6:45 pm.  They observed Williams pull into the driveway of a residence on Ramar. Deputies immediately made contact with Williams and placed him under arrest without incident. Williams was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
