ARREST: William Roy Quinn, 34, of Fort Mohave

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested William Roy Quinn, 34, of Fort Mohave, Tuesday (10/24) morning for trafficking in stolen property, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Investigations began September 7th when deputies responded to a theft report at a residence in the 5600 block of Pasadena Road. The 57-year-old male victim reported that someone stole his digital camera and he suspects Quinn, a prior roommate. Deputies contacted Quinn on the property. Quinn advised that he did not know what happened to the camera. Upon further investigations, determined that Quinn had sold the camera to a mutual friend. Deputies attempted to locate Quinn without success. On Tuesday (10/24), at about 9:00 a.m., deputies contacted Quinn in the area of Huntington and Corona Road. Deputies questioned Quinn and he advised that he had sold a different camera. Deputies advised Quinn, that he sold the reported stolen camera. Quinn was taken into custody without incident. A search of Quinn revealed a plastic bag containing a white crystal which field tested positive for methamphetamine. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
