Bullhead ACW Investigating Dog Bite

Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are seeking a dog and its owner for standard quarantine procedures after a recent dog bite.

On Wednesday, October 4th at around 6:30 p.m., ACW was called for a dog bite that occurred in the 1600 block of Mesa Vista Lane. A 57-year-old male victim reported that he was talking to his neighbor when a stray dog came up, bit him on his calf and then ran away.

The dog is described as a black pit/lab mix. The man was treated at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.

ACW patrolled the area but was unable to locate the dog.
