Cory Mason is in police custody. He is currently being interviewed by detectives.
The Bullhead City Police Department is investigating a shooting where suspect Cory James Mason, 29, fired a weapon in the direction of two people.
On Tuesday, July 31st at about 7:30 a.m., Mason went to his mother’s home in the 600 block of Holly Street. He had been arguing with a male family friend over an outstanding debt. It was reported that Mason’s mother and the male family friend were in the driveway when Mason arrived. Mason got into a verbal argument, pulled out a handgun and fired one round into a wall, very close to where the two victims were standing. No injuries were reported. Mason then fled the scene.
Police are now searching for Mason. He is wanted for aggravated assault in connection to this morning’s incident. He is also wanted for other felony charges in an unrelated case for stealing a motorcycle.
