Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Eric Richard Barrios, 34, of Kingman, Wednesday (10/4) evening for possession of narcotic drugs, possession of dangerous drugs and possess a weapon in a drug offense, felonies. Approximately 8:41 p.m., deputies responded to a convenience store in the 4400 block of Highway 95 regarding suspicious activity. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party, an employee. The RP said that a male and female subjects occupied the single stall restroom for 15 minutes. The RP further said that the subjects are now in the parking lot of the business. Deputies contacted the subjects. The male subject falsely identified himself numerous times. The male subject, later identified as Barrios, was taken into custody without incident. A search of Barrios revealed a plastic bag containing a brown substance with white crystals and a firearm inside his pants pocket. During conversations with Barrios, he said the bag contains heroin and methamphetamine. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
