Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Nathan Shawn Strawderman, 42, of Mohave Valley, early Tuesday (10/3) morning for aggravated assault per domestic violence and a fugitive from justice warrant issued out of Ohio, both felonies, along with criminal damage per domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Approximately 2:43 a.m., deputies responded to a disturbance call at a residence in the 1500 block of E Laguna Road. While enroute, deputies learned that the reporting party advised that Strawderman, her boyfriend, hit her in the head and body. Upon arrival, deputies made entry into the residence and located the 38-year-old female victim. Mohave Valley Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim to Valley View Medical Center. Deputies searched the residence without locating Strawderman. Fort Mohave Tribal Police responded to assist in searching the area. A short time later, Fort Mohave Tribal Police located Strawderman hiding in some bushes to the northeast of the residence. Strawderman was taken into custody without incident. Deputies observed a large screen television was knocked off its stand and was face down on the floor inside the residence. A records check showed Strawderman to have an outstanding warrant. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
