Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a non-injury accident that occurred in the desert near the Interstate 40 on Saturday (11/11) afternoon. The vehicle was participating in an off-road poker run and was traveling from Topock to the Lake Havasu area.
At about 3:40 p.m. deputies responded to the scene of where a Jeep was traversing up a large hill when its rear tire hit soft sand and came off the trail. The driver attempted to correct and get the vehicle back onto the trail when the vehicle rolled and landed on the driver’s side. The two occupants onboard were uninjured. The vehicle was recovered by fellow off-roaders.
