On Friday, October 13 at approximately 8:00 p.m., Bullhead City Police responded to Bullhead Junior High School on Hancock Road for a report of threats.
On the sidewalk written in chalk was a message about a school shooting on Monday. Police reviewed school surveillance video that showed a male suspect.
On Saturday night, police located a 14-year-old male in the 2800 block of Highway 95, who was wearing the same clothing pictured in the surveillance video. After further investigation and interviewing the juvenile, police arrested him for the hoax and interfering with an educational institution, both felonies.
He was booked into the Juvenile Detention Center in Kingman. Police determined the suspect did not intend to act on this threat.
