UPDATE – Wanted Stabbing Incident (May 21)

Wanted man Michael Scott Boyea, 35, was taken into custody, Saturday, for an outstanding felony warrant for attempted first degree murder and aggravated assault.

On Saturday, August 4th at about 6:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a suicidal subject with a knife. When police arrived on scene, Boyea ran out the back door. Boyea jumped several fences and was shortly apprehended in a backyard in the 1900 block of Morning Glory Trail.

He was taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center where he was treated for a self-inflicted injury. Boyea was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant where he had stabbed a man several times on May 21st, 2018.

He was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman






The Bullhead City Police Department is looking for a Bullhead City man, 34-year-old Michael Boyea, who is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

     On May 21st at 3:45 p.m., police were called to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for a report of a man being treated for stab wounds.

     After further investigation, police learned that the victim was at a friend’s house, in the 800 block of Glen Dr., when an acquaintance came over and stabbed him several times. Police received information that the victim was in a dispute with a mutual friend who was not on scene.

     Suspect Michael Scott Boyea, 34, is a white male, about 5’10”, 200 pounds, with a shaved head and hazel eyes.

     If anyone has any information on his whereabouts, please contact the Bullhead City Police Department at (928) 763-1999. Do not approach; he is considered to be armed and dangerous. A temporary felony warrant for his arrest has been issued. The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
