Yesterday’s Drowning

On October 2nd at around 6:30 p.m., Bullhead City Police and Fire crews received a call about a man who went down in the Colorado River near the 2700 block of Camino Del Rio.

Friends of the man, William H. Przybytek, 50 of Bullhead City, said Przybytek jumped into the river to help pull their boat to shore. He told his friends that he was in trouble and they threw him a life vest. His friend jumped in and tried to rescue Przybytek when he went under water.

Rescue operations began and continued the next morning. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office reportedly located Przbytek’s body in the river near Needles, CA Tuesday morning.
